The Öresund bridge

8 kilometres of bridge, 4 kilometres of man-made island and 4 kilometres of tunnel. The Öresundsbron link connects Sweden and Denmark. When the link was opened in July 2000, Skåne suddenly found itself closer to the Continent – and vice versa.
